About the role
The Coordinator Maintenance Planning, Scheduling and Stores role ensures maintenance activities across East Gippsland Water are effectively planned, scheduled and resourced to support reliable service delivery.
Acting as the central coordination point between planning, scheduling, stores and operations, the role develops the annual maintenance plan and translates it into achievable work schedules aligned with operational priorities and available resources. It focuses on efficient delivery of maintenance through effective coordination of people, contractors, materials and equipment, strong integration with stores, and use of CMMS systems to support data‑driven decision‑making. The role also drives continuous improvement to enhance maintenance performance, asset reliability, cost efficiency and service outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver the Annual Maintenance Plan
- Drive innovation in maintenance planning and CMMS use
- Optimise maintenance scheduling, performance and KPIs
- Ensure effective, integrated stores operations and systems
- Manage critical spares availability and stores optimisation
- Lead maintenance contracts, tenders and contractor performance
- Support maintenance budgeting, forecasting and cost efficiency
- Ensure compliance with HSE, regulatory and risk frameworks
- Build team capability through training, mentoring and collaboration

* This role has been classified as per our Enterprise Agreement as a Band 3-4 position, ($83,811.38 - $103,808.81 per annum)
