About the role
The Manager, Digital Transformation leads EGW’s digital transformation function, providing strategic direction, operational oversight, and strong people leadership. The role is responsible for uplifting organisational digital capability, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, and ensuring the effective delivery and performance of digital initiatives across the business.
Key responsibilities include managing operational support and project delivery, overseeing incident and change processes, and ensuring robust governance, risk, compliance, and reporting frameworks. The role also manages digital budgets and vendor relationships, builds trusted internal and external partnerships, and supports organisation‑wide change, capability uplift, and alignment to EGW’s values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead delivery of all digital transformation initiatives and ensure strategic alignment.
- Maintain portfolio governance, prioritisation, gating and escalation processes.
- Oversee end‑to‑end delivery across multiple programs, ensuring scope, time and quality.
- Manage portfolio budgets, forecasting, financial controls and funding alignment.
- Oversee procurement, vendor performance and contract compliance for digital programs.
- Act as primary escalation point between project teams, leaders and delivery partners.
- Manage program‑level risks, issues, interdependencies and regulatory/audit impacts.
- Ensure compliance, audit readiness and adherence to governance and policy frameworks.
- Embed consistent tools, systems and reporting to improve visibility and delivery confidence.
- Lead, coach and performance‑manage Project Managers and uplift delivery capability.
- Drive structured stakeholder engagement and ensure alignment across business groups.
- Manage vendor relationships, governance cycles and external delivery partnerships.
- Provide clear reporting to Executives and committees, including KPIs, risks and progress.
- Maintain strong financial governance, procurement coordination and transparent reporting.
