Job Description

About the role

This full-time ongoing role as Administration Support Officer plays a key part in helping the Service Delivery team achieve corporate objectives efficiently and effectively. The role provides administrative support across a range of functions, including procurement and business process support for operational project delivery, minor trade waste customer management, and documentation for business continuity and emergency management. It also contributes to leadership team productivity through proactive administrative coordination and collaboration, either directly or by supervising a trainee.

While the role reports to the General Manager Service Delivery, the role provides critical support to the Operational Project team, the Sewage Quality Team, the Emergency Management function and the broader Service Delivery Leadership team. The role operates as part of an administration team within East Gippsland Water and will collaborate and provide two-way support to the broader team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support procurement, compliance, and spend analysis
  • Assist with equipment specs and project documentation
  • Coordinate emergency plans, trade waste, and reporting
  • Manage sampling logistics and dam safety tracking
  • Organise leadership meetings and track actions
  • Monitor CAMMS risks and incident debriefs
  • Mentor admin trainee and share team knowledge
  • Liaise across Service Delivery and EGW teams
  • Promote a positive, inclusive team culture
  • Role model EGW values and foster collaboration
  • Apply and promote HSE policies and safe practices
  • Maintain accurate records and handle queries confidentially

* This role has been classified as per our Enterprise Agreement as a Band 2 position, ($64,906.86 - $72,911.12 per annum)

* Plus 12% employer superannuation contribution. We reserve the right to remunerate successful candidates within the span of this classification dependant on demonstrated skills, experience and qualifications.
