About the role
This is a full-time, ongoing role based in Mallacoota. As Senior Operations Technician, you’ll help keep water and sewer systems running safely and smoothly. You’ll maintain treatment plants and equipment, use digital tools, lead daily tasks, and follow safety and quality procedures to ensure reliable service for the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain water and sewer systems, treatment plants, and pump stations.
- Use SCADA to monitor systems, manage alarms, and support process improvements.
- Handle chemical management, general maintenance, and irrigation scheduling.
- Inspect infrastructure, perform maintenance, and respond to issues quickly.
- Support customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and communicate service updates.
- Work with teams to plan maintenance, share insights, and improve system performance.
- Use data to identify efficiency opportunities and recommend improvements.
